ETERNA HEALTHCARE is a state-of-the-art medical facility located in New Cairo, Egypt. This modern healthcare complex was designed to provide a healing environment that supports both patients and medical staff through thoughtful integration of architecture, interior design, and landscape elements.
The project features a comprehensive medical campus with specialized treatment centers, diagnostic facilities, and support services, all set within a carefully designed landscape that contributes to the healing process. The outdoor spaces are thoughtfully planned to provide therapeutic benefits, with healing gardens, contemplative spaces, and accessible pathways that enhance the patient experience and support staff wellbeing.
As a landscape architect on this project, Khaled Elnezily focused on creating evidence-based therapeutic landscapes that address the unique needs of a healthcare environment. The design incorporates sensory gardens with carefully selected plantings, comfortable seating areas for patients and visitors, and strategic use of natural elements to reduce stress and promote healing. Special attention was given to accessibility, safety, and maintenance considerations to ensure the landscape functions effectively within the healthcare context.
